Akin to Anne: Tales of Other Orphans is a collection of short stories published in magazines by Lucy Maud Montgomery. It was collected and edited by Rea Wilmhurst who also wrote the foreword. It's a collection of stories about various kinds of orphans who find homes.
The cover photograph is uncredited, dated 1884, but was apparently recolourised by one Jeremy Jones.
The first illustration, "I went to Witch Penny..." was signed by a M.E. Bonham.
The second illustration, "She eyed Chster sourly." was signed by Juanita Smith.
The third and final illustration, "'Nonsense,' said Millicent..." was signed by P.B. Hickling.
This book was published 1988 by McClelland and Stewart.
