Ferruccio Lamborghini was born on 28 April 1916 in Italy.
As a young man, Lamborghini was drawn more to farming machinery.
In the early 1940’s he was drafted in to the Italian Airforce, where he served as a mechanic. Using his mechanical skill, he started manufacturing Tractors identifying the potential of mechanisation in agriculture industry.
Ferruccio Lamborghini became very wealthy from his tractor business. He was very fond of luxury sports cars and he owned many during then.
Ferruccio Lamborghini thought Ferrari Car’s were good, but too noisy and rough and equipped with inferior clutches. It is believed that Furuccio Lamborghini decided to talk about the glitch directly to Enzo Ferrari (Founder of Ferrari) and Enzo Ferrari told Ferrucio Lamborghini that he didn’t want any advice from a tractor mechanic and then the rivalry begun
Ferruccio Lamborghini saw Enzo Ferrari’s comment as insult and that became the driving force for Lamborghini to enter in to Luxury sport cars.
