The most prevalent problem I see is with form, most people get so stuck on taking everything through a full range of motion that they end up letting supporting muscles jump in and take over the movement. Second is that most gym rats shy away from the more difficult movements, instead of doing bent over rows they opt for seated cable rows which is a great exercise but not a sacrifice you can make every time. Lastly people don’t hit all the muscles in their back and the mid, low traps, rhomboids, lower lats and even some of those important spinal erector muscles get neglected.
