Generation 1 ZXI getting worked upon for certain extreme terrains and temperature varying from 40deg to close to 5 or below.
Reinforcing the crash bars inside the bumper on this video .
Plating was done on the front (captured here) and on the rear as well(not captured in this video).
Plus on top of this a whole single steel plate with conuntious welding was done.
Radiator mountings and cross members reinforced.
Suspension has been upgraded to Cobra EVO Coilovers for height adjustability.
Soon in the following , newer tyres all weather which comes with extreme cold...and a different grade oxygen sensor for extreme high altitudes as vehicles just as humans struggle to perform at such heights.
Looking at a few brands based on their tested performance . Bosch 17025, AC DELCO afs138, Denso 234 - 9005 or the Abigail 15717.
May even tune and remap the ecm post that.
Radiator mesh as well will be fixed to keep the radiator safe from insects, small stones or objects that can harm it when vehicle is in speed.
If stuff doesn't get done in time ..then will be taking a suv. I chose the swift as a first option as taking a suv to such conditions is normal...but a hatchback may not be so normal.
