
Hi fellow carnivore friends, we wamted to share an easy recipe, this was a prime grade sirloin steak,
To start, we got our cast iron hot, but not scalding hot, just about 6-8 mins on medium high heat
Then, we added the frozen steak,... yes, from frozen, you can cook this particular steak and it all will be delicious and juicy
5 mins on the cast iron, then flip and repeat 5 mins again at a lower temperature, and then let it rest for 3-5 mins, using a probe to chek the temperature is your best choice to cook it perfectly.
We sliced it and loved the color, however Cynthia wanted hers a bit more cooked, so we placed them back on cast iron for a minute on one side and 30 secs on the other.. reaching a medium well for the thicker ones and medium 138 for the others as you can see on video :)
