COVID-19 booster shots to be offered widely, starts Sept. 20

Booster shots of COVID-19 vaccine will be offered to all eligible people in the U.S. beginning Sept 20; the shots will start with those who are eight months out from their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines. Booster shots are already available in New Jersey to anyone with a compromised immune system. There is no specific recommendation yet regarding the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
