Submerged Health Center | জলমগ্ন উপস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্র, বিপাকে স্বাস্থ্যকর্মীরা

Their role in providing medical services in the Corona War was paramount. But Khairabad sub-health center located in Mathurapur area of Manikchak block has been submerged due to continuous rains for the last few days. Due to this, the health workers are in trouble. However, the health workers are providing daily services from the club building of a nearby voluntary organization.





#করোনা যুদ্ধে চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা প্রদানে তাদের ভূমিকা ছিল সর্বাগ্রে। কিন্তু বিগত কয়েকদিনের টানা বৃষ্টিতে জলমগ্ন মানিকচক ব্লকের মথুরাপুর এলাকায় অবস্থিত খৈরাবাদ উপস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্র। এর জেরে সমস্যায় পড়েছেন স্বাস্থ্যকর্মীরা। তবে পার্শ্ববর্তী একটি স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠনের ক্লাব ভবন থেকে নিত্যদিন পরিষেবা দিয়ে চলছেন স্বাস্থ্যকর্মীরা। উল্লেখ্য, প্রবল বৃষ্টিতে জলমগ্ন মানিকচকের মথুরাপুর এলাকায় অবস্থিত খৈরাবাদ উপস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্র। পাশাপাশি জলমগ্ন পার্শ্ববর্তী আইসিডিএস কেন্দ্র এবং ভূমি দপ্তরের অফিসও। এই পরিস্থিতিতে অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য দুটি অফিস বন্ধ থাকলেও উপস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্র বন্ধ করা কার্যত দুস্কর হয়ে উঠেছে স্বাস্থ্যকর্মীদের। এই উপস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্র থেকে মথুরাপুর অঞ্চল এলাকার গর্ভবতী মহিলা সহ শিশুদের টিকা দেওয়া থেকে শুরু করে স্বাস্থ্য সংক্রান্ত সমস্ত রকম কাজ করা হয়। বেহাল নিকাশি ব্যবস্থার জেরে প্রতিবছর বর্ষায় জল যন্ত্রণায় সমস্যায় পড়তে হয় তাদের। এ ব্যাপারে গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত ও ব্লক প্রশাসনকে বারংবার জানিয়েও সমস্যার সমাধান হয়নি বলেও অভিযোগ স্বাস্থ্যকর্মীদের।
