World Health Organization (WHO) regional emergency director, Rick Brennan says medical supplies are running out in Afghanistan.
The body says it is planning to establish an air bridge into the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif with the help of the Pakistani government within two or three days.
Rick Brennan told journalists in Geneva that trauma kits and emergency supplies for hospitals, as well as medicines for treating chronic malnutrition among children, are among priority items needed.
