How many writers are there on a TV show? Well, on a primetime animated TV show, like when I was on king of the hill, there are, they tend to have a lot of writers, like 20 writers. That's a very big staff, uh, for other shows, other network shows, most staffs are a little smaller than that. Maybe like say 10 or so. And if you move to a streaming platform or a cable network where the orders were shorter, like on a network, so you might do 22, but on streaming or cable show, maybe 2010 episodes or 12 episodes a year. So the writing staff's tends to be smaller. Sometimes they have these mini rooms, which Steve tinier. So the average show might have, let's say they're eight writers, 10. Maybe I've worked in writing rooms as a smallest four writers. When my partner and I were running Narren and IFC, that was real low budget. We only had four writers. So if you want to be included in this group, you got to up your game, you got to bring your a game. You have to understand story structure and you have to have good, good writing samples, not okay.
