The importance of leaving a will is that it will speak for one after death. A Will can communicate how property and assets left behind would be distributed and give the names of the beneficiaries or guardian, in case one dies before.
Two main types of a valid will are; Oral which has a validity of three months from when it's pronounced and has to be done when one is sober, sane, or in the presence of at least two witnesses.
The other one is Written, which bears a signature of the deceased and is witnessed by at least two.
