Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has issued an official notification about 5% additional marks to be given to all students of 9th, 10th, 1st year and 2nd year. The notification also clarifies that all the students will be awarded 33% marks in those subjects in which they are failed i.e. less than 33% marks. The special exams would be conducted in the month of November 2021. The special exams will be conducted for 10th and 2nd year elective subjects only. And smart syllabus would be followed. All those students can appear in the special exams who were absent or who are not satisfied with their result.
The students who will be passed with 33% grace marks will be eligible to get admission if they manage to get overall 45%+. However, if the total percentage is less than 45%, the student will not be allowed to apply for admission in regular programs in Universities.
