Eid Milad un-Nabi 2021: Date, Significance, Celebrations Observed On Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday

Eid Milad un-Nabi is observed in the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. It is the third month of the Islamic lunar calendar. Eid Milad-un-Nabi will be celebrated from October 18 evening till October 19 evening. It is commemorated as the birth and death day of Prophet Mohammed. A large section of Muslims believe Prophet Mohammed was born on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. He was the last messenger of Allah. Sunnis and Shias commemorate the occasion on different days in the same month. While Sunnis observe the day on the 12th day, Shias do it on the 17th day of the month. Watch the video to know more.
