My Hobo reels tested for performance and usability

I test my theory that the different diameters of my hobo reels is effecting the casting distance, this proved not to be the case but it does effect the retrieval of the line and line speed. The biggest factor in the usability was the width of the spool for easier line return, a wet line cast better than a dry one
