The Honda S2000 is a thrilling, but tiny roadster that offers an engaging driving experience

Now that my s2000 is done and fully functioning, I can give an accurate review of it. I loved driving it, but I didn't love owning it as much. It wasn't practical (nor was it designed to be), but mainly it just didn't get me excited the way my hand-built Aston Martin did. The S2000 is mass produced the way every other Honda is made, which takes away lots of character. The trade-off here is you're getting a consistent, well-built product with cheap replacement parts. The car is tiny, and my legs had trouble getting in and out easily, and I'm not very tall. The main (and arguably only) point of the S2000 is the driving experience that it offers. For the price you get a decent amount of drama- the motor works hard to churn out all 240 hp especially at lower RPMs. The gears are right where you want them to be when downshifting. Heel-toe in this car is cake work. Better than a Miata? yes. Worth the extra money? Only you can decide...
