This is the Range Rover Velar P400e, yes that e means that the Velar has gone hybrid. It features a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine along with a 17.1kWh battery which together produce 398 bhp and 472 lb ft of torque. The means that the Velar P400e is no slouch, in fact it can complete the 0-62mph sprint in just 5.4 seconds and go on to a top speed of 130 mph. The real question though is has turning the Velar into a hybrid enhanced or hindered its stylish rugged appeal?
Matt went to find out.
