2021 ReThink315 Student Retreat Session #2: Prone To Wander: Why So Many Young People Are Kissing Christianity Goodbye (Featuring Mark P. Ryan, MA, MDIV, Interviewed by ReThink315 Founder, Jeremy Smith)
Overview: Various sources and stats suggest that many are walking away from Christianity. A number of well-known Christian authors, musicians, and even pastors have publicly renounced their faith. What exactly is going on here? Is it as bad as it seems? What can we do to stem the tide?
Mark P. Ryan, MA, MDIV is the Director of the Francis A. Schaeffer Institute at Covenant Theological Seminary, Saint Louis, MO, where he also serves as adjunct professor of religion and culture. Mark has worked with L’Abri Fellowship in both Massachusetts and British Columbia and has pastored churches in Australia and the United States. Mark’s ministry experience, heart for evangelism, and interest in helping Christians and non-Christians alike navigate the cross-currents of religion and culture, make him a valuable member of the ReThink315 team.
