Judge Smacks Down Request To Remove Lauren Boebert's Primary Challenger From Ballot

Allies of Lauren Boebert clearly know that she's in trouble as she heads into her primary battle against Don Coram, so they decided to file a lawsuit to get Coram kicked off the ballot. That went about as well as you would expect, and the judge immediately tossed the case out of court and ruled in favor of Coram. Farron Cousins explains why Boebert's allies are so desperate to prevent a primary battle.

Lauren Bauer's friends and allies are so desperate to protect her seat in Congress, that they recently filed a challenge to her. Very strong Republican primary challenger state, Senator Don corru in court, alleging that many of the signatures he collected to even get on the ballot in the first place. We're basically fraudulent. And yesterday, a judge said, no, they're not. He's going to stay on the ballot. In fact, the secretary of state actually determined that only 19 of the signatures were somehow invalid. He did not go in, you know, to how they were invalid, but said, secretary of state looked at it, analyzed all of them 19 were invalid, but that's not enough to keep him off the ballot. So yes, Lauren Bobert, there is a primary challenger and it's one that is hugely popular in your district. So here's the thing. This challenge, we is actually filed by a man by the name of David Lee lair.

Um, he's attacked quorum for using signatures to qualify for the ballot at all, rather than going through the caucus system, writing two local letters to newspapers. On the matter one of them said, quote, before being co hold into signing. This petition voters should take a few moments to educate their themselves and do their own background. Check on quorum, check out corrupt quorum.com. He wrote that in both of his letters and it turns out that corrupt quorum.com is actually run by the Bobert campaign. So while Mr. Laird may not be a part of the BT campaign, he sure is kind of working on their behalf, right? Writing letters to the paper saying, go check out this website, run by Lauren bobbers campaign. So here's why they're doing this. Obviously Lauren bobber outside of her district is hugely unpopular. That is of course why Don Korum decided to throw his hat into the ring and run for that house seat.

Quorum is a more moderate Republican. As I said, he is incredibly popular in the state of Colorado. And the district of course recently got a little bit more red. However, the new additions to the district are more moderate than they are fringe extreme like Bogart. It is a relatively safe Republican district, but not necessarily for Bobert now. So quorum actually stands a very good chance of unseating her in the primary, which would be fantastic. Let's also not forget the recent fundraising numbers Lauren. Bet's not doing so well. She doesn't have much cash on hand at all. I mean, basically she has enough money to run an ad like one ad. She could do one ad buy with the money that she has had on hand right now, because she did not have a very good for, uh, first quarter. Neither did Matt gates or Madison Callthorne or Marjorie Taylor green, but Bobert is the one that is in serious trouble.

Callthorne is too, but that's a story for a different day story. I've actually told a hundred times Brets in trouble. And now even her friends trying to come to her rescue, kicking this man off the ballot basically gets laughed out of court. Cuz the judge says, Nope, these signatures were reviewed. He's legitimate. He meet the, he beat the threshold. There's nothing you can do. You cannot protect Lauren BT anymore. She has to face a challenger, poor Bo overt, right? It's up to her though. Right? She can make the case to voters in her district. She gets to explain to them as quorum has called her out for why she hasn't done a single thing for any of 'em. So yeah, answer to the voters, Lauren, that's what this, uh, you know, constitutional democracy or as you tweeted out the other day, this was actually a Republic. Sure it is. But that's actually a form of democracy and we do have a constitutional democracy, which means voters get to choose their representatives. That is democracy idiot. And now you're going to have to face them with a very strong on challenger who continues to call you out for doing absolutely nothing in the last two years, other than making yourself famous for the dumbest reasons possible.
