কিছুটা দেরি হলেও জটিলতা কেটে গেছে এলিভেটেড এক্সপ্রেসওয়ে'র। জমি আর অর্থায়ন নিশ্চিত হয়ে যাওয়ায় বছরের শেষ নাগাদই একাংশ চালুর কথা জানালেন প্রকল্প পরিচালক। বিমানবন্দর থেকে তেজগাঁও পর্যন্ত ১১ কিলোমিটার রাস্তা চালু করতে জোর প্রস্তুতি চলছে এখন। বিশেষজ্ঞ কমিটির সদস্যের মতে, ঠিকঠাক সমন্বয় করা গেলে আরও আগেই এক্সপ্রেসওয়ের সুফল পেতো নগরবাসী।
Although a little late, the complexity of the elevated expressway has been cut. The project director said that part of the project will be launched by the end of the year as the land and financing have been confirmed. Preparations are underway to launch 11 km road from the airport to Tejgaon. According to a member of the expert committee, the city dwellers would have benefited from the expressway even earlier if proper coordination had been made.
