In my personal opinion; every event host should be cracking down on clothing requirements. I remember a time when event hosts would berate players in front of every participant of the event and make it crystal clear what is acceptable and what is not acceptable. Not only is this designed to make an event more immersive but it also cuts down on the friendly fire on other players. In this example where a green-based player is wearing the following; Green top, Straight Tan bottoms, and a Multicam (which is a tan specified camo pattern) plate carrier. I would have been in the correct to engage and shoot this player. But because I remember seeing him and his incorrect gear choices previously I knew that he was a friendly.
The second thing to take away from this is to have good target identification and be able to identify friendly or hostile targets. Dont be afraid to take a tactical pause to take in your surroundings.
