As parents, we all would long to know that our children are established and stable apart from us. We want to know that no matter what challenges come they will not be shaken or moved. Paul wanted to same assurance of the Thessalonians believers who were experiencing intense persecution in his absence. Paul was overjoyed to find out that they were strong in faith and Love, in the midst of affliction. Would we remain faithful, established and encouraged in the midst of persecution?
